HINGHAM LACROSSE NIGHT AT BOSTON CANNONS
THIS SATURDAY, MAY 17th
This coming Saturday is Hingham Lacrosse Night at the Boston Cannons
Home opening game against the New Jersey Pride- game time 7 PM.
To reserve your tickets, contact Rob Hale by Friday morning at his email

May 17th - Away at Wellesley High School Stadium
7th Grade – 8:00
8th Grade – 9:15
6th Grade – 10:30
5th Grade – 11:45
May 31st- Home vs. Medfield
6th Grade: 1:00 - 2:00
7th Grade: 2:00 – 3:00
8th Grade: 3:00 – 4:00
There are no lacrosse games, either TPL or MBYLL over the Memorial Day weekend. The Men’s NCAA championships are being held at Gillette Stadium. Div. I semi-finals on Saturday, Div II & III championships on Sunday and the DI final on Monday. Tickets are still available through Gillette if anyone is interested.

This short video at the link below was submitted by a lax parent via Hingham youth baseball. It provides a great perspective on the role of youth sports from a college hockey coach. Bottom line: the best approach to youth sports is to focus on helping kids develop basic skills and having fun, not winning.
"We have to give the game back to the kids," says Don Lucia, coach of Univ of Minnesota hockey team. Lucia extols the virtues of small rink (i.e. short field) games. "Let them have fun! They'll stay in the sport longer."

Are you looking for information about your lacrosse team? Every team in Hingham has its own Web page on this site with detailed rosters, schedules, documents, calendars, pictures, scores, and bulletins. Go to Schedules/Teams and select the appropriate leagues and teams in the list boxes.
If you are looking for information pertaining to your entire league (i.e. U11 MBYLL, U15 Girls), each League has its own Web page in the Schedules/Teams tab. If you are looking for information pertaining to an entire program (i.e. Youth Boys, Youth Girls, HHS Boys), each program has its own tab across the top above. You can also see all the games being played on a given day by clicking on the calendar to the right. Awesome.
Do you have more than one child playing lacrosse? Click on "multi-schedule" to create a custom calendar of all the games by date. Pretty cool. You can also click on the calendar to the right to see everything that is happening with Hingham Lax for each day of the month. Wicked cool.
Would you like to bring to games a team roster with names and jersey numbers? Click "Roster" on your child's team page and hit print! Sweet!
Finally, you can update your profile by clicking on "Edit My Account" below. You can also sell your old equipment in our Exchange to the right. |
